Daniel Ranalli: Whale Stranding.
Daniel Ranalli's art provides a perspective on whale and dolphin strandings, through the old whaler's tool of stamps to enumerate harvests. Today our data rely on digital tools, but we are still taking stock, and pursuing goals, albeit different ones. Whalers and rescuers both interact closely with remarkable animals. We used to drive them up the beach; now help them back into the water.
