Four fine art prints are ready for framing from original scrimshaw etchings by Kjeld Jensen, a rare self-taught artist in scrimshaw. Each fine art print was pulled from the original piece of scrimshaw done on whale bone.
Prints are dated 1978. Printed on ecru matting, the etchings measure approximately 4.75" x 4.5" and feature 1) Charles W. Morgan whaler (built in New Bedford, Mass. now in Mystic Seaport, Conn.) 2) Sperm Whaling 3) Gamming 4) Arctic Whaling.
