FAQ
Q: Is this item locally made?
A: We love supporting local businesses and a lot of our products are created and produced in Massachusetts. However, we do also carry items that are made in other states or abroad.
Q: What is excluded from my 10% member discount?
A: The only items excluded are consignment pieces and items on sale. Of course, if the item on sale is less than your discount, you will receive the better price.
Q: Are all of your items in the store available on the web store?
A: No. While the majority of the items in our physical store are available online, there are a few products that are only available onsite. If you can't find a product from your recent visit, please contact us and we can work with you to place a custom order.
Q: How do I get a copy of a painting in your Museum?
A: The New Bedford Whaling Museum has partnered with 1000Museums to produce high quality reproductions of the paintings in our collection. You can browse our available catalogue here.
Q: Will I be responsible for paying customs duties or clearance fees on my international order?
A: Yes, any customs duties, taxes, or clearance fees imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the buyer. These charges are separate from the shipping fees paid at checkout and are determined by the local customs authority. We recommend checking with your local customs office for more information on potential fees before placing your order.
