Sponsorship: Lighting the Way: Historic Women of the SouthCoast

Help us celebrate the valuable contributions that women have made to our region! Lighting the Way is a multidisciplinary educational project that explores the historical impact of diverse women from the SouthCoast.  The project’s goal is to reveal compelling, yet underrepresented, narratives to a public audience through a walking trail, mobile App, website, and public events. Women highlighted by this project include Martha Bailey Briggs, Hetty Green, Polly Johnson, Sarah Delano, Cecil Clark Davis, Rachel Howland, and many others. Your support will allow the Museum to plan exciting community programming for 2020, the centennial of the passage of the 19th amendment granting women the right to vote, including a school curriculum, exhibition, and public art installations
