De Wind is Op!: Climate, Culture and Innovation in Dutch Maritime Painting, celebrates the Whaling Museum’s collection of Dutch maritime masterpieces, which is widely considered one of the finest collections outside of the Netherlands. The exhibition will interpret the works around the themes of wind and climate to inspire visitors with a fresh perspective on these historical seascapes.
